About The Event
It's that time of year again and RATS is looking for operators for the 2025 Allianz Partners Richmond Marathon, which is on Saturday, November 15th, 2025.
Operating events can be fun as well as good training for emergency communications, as the nets for events are generally run just as emergency nets are. It also shows the community what amateur radio is capable of and so it gives the hobby good exposure.
You do not need to have experience in operating events to join in the fun. If you aren't experienced, you will be paired with someone that is.
