L3Harris | VHF FM & P25 Virginia Amateur + MURS & NOAA

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mYYzRm7HxTB1RS0-Eyl1JgIxTr2dBmTt/view?usp=sharing

This L3Harris personality provides comprehensive statewide coverage of Virginia’s VHF amateur infrastructure. It includes all known VHF FM and P25 repeaters across the state (except Regions 4 [Wytheville] and 6 [Salem]), along with popular simplex channels and supporting frequencies. While the personality was designed for an XG75M, it's universally compatible with any Harris radio by changing the radio type in Radio Personality Manager (RPM).

System Layout:

  • HAM R1 X – Region 1 (Richmond)

  • HAM R2 X – Region 2 (Culpeper)

  • HAM R3 A/B – Region 3 (Appomattox, Banks A & B)

  • HAM R5 A/B – Region 5 (Chesapeake, Banks A & B)

  • HAM R7 A/B – Region 7 (Fairfax, Banks A & B)

  • HAM X AN – Statewide simplex analog (FM)

  • HAM X 25 – Statewide simplex digital (P25)

  • NOAA - 7 NOAA weather radio frequencies (RX-only)

  • MURS - 5 MURS frequencies, P25 & FM. Low power.

Standardization & Features:

  • All repeaters are labeled with their callsign (N8ELS, KG4MRA, etc.) instead of frequency. If multiple repeaters exist with the same callsign, they will be labeled as "KG4MRA-V" for VHF, U for UHF, or V1 for VHF1, V2 for VHF2, etc.

  • Each regional zone includes 146.52 MHz “VCALL” in FM (VCALL) and P25 (VCALL D) at Channels 1 & 2 for consistency.

  • All zones are configured to scan all channels within the zone (Ex: all channels in HAM R1 X are scanned when that system is selected).

  • NOAA Weather Radio frequencies are programmed as receive-only.

  • All 5 MURS channels are included at low power in both FM and P25.

Important Notes:

  • This file contains no public safety or mission-critical resources.

  • I will not assist with obtaining Harris Radio Personality Manager (RPM) software.
